Dieing cat? Na it's fine. Probably stress. Awful. Took a very ill cat here. Vet said it was fine, said the same dribble of "oh it's probably stress. Is there a new cat around maybe?". Apparently bloods came back perfect. Less than 48 hours later the cat is passed out on the ground struggling to breath. I went to another vet, awful blood results, told had we not brought the cat that day it probably wouldn't have survived. Been told there's a 50/50 chance of surviving. This isn't the first time I've brought a cat here that died shortly after being told the same thing; "Perfectly healthy cat, probably a bit of stress." They did have some great staff here but they've all left. Please go anywhere else.

I have been with Newton Clarke vets for over 10 years for care of my 2 whippets. When it came to say goodbye to my 14 year old whippet, Elvis, at home sadly Elvis received a below par service, as a client I was mortified and deeply saddened at the experience. I gave feedback and was assured by the practice owner no other client would experience the passing of a dearly beloved pet again like me. Shortly after I receive a call to collect my dogs ashes, I do this and the receptionist hands the bag over the counter to me with no words at all. That was the final straw for me after giving feedback and hoping they learnt from an appalling un empathetic experience putting my beloved boy to sleep this was the final straw. Clearly this practice will take a lot of your money when your pets are alive but do not give an inch of care when they are passed. I gave ample opportunity before posting this to give feedback and training on empathy and the loss of pets, nothing clearly was learned.

I am writing to thank you for the exceptional care you provided for my cat. I initially thought she had a jaw dislocation, but your vet's thorough examination correctly identified it as a dental problem. I was so impressed by the vet's expertise and the gentle, patient manner in which the situation was handled. The entire team was kind and helpful. My cat is now on the road to recovery, thanks to you. We are so grateful!

An outstanding team! A big shout out to you all from reception to my personal experience with Olly Davidson who has invested his time care and compassion with my beautiful Labrador through her tplo surgery! Can’t thank you enough for all your support throughout this time.

We can't fault the service we have had at Newton Clarke, from treatment and sadly the loss of my Scottie, Toby due to cancer, then my new pup falling ill just 5 months later with an auto immune condition. We've known Peter for years, we've also been dealing with Kate regularly and yesterday I meet Rachel! Every encounter has been unrushed, the vets have taken time to explain what's going on, sometimes this has been very in depth, and we've never been made to feel we are an inconvenience or rushed. Thanks to each and every one of you including the friendly and smiley reception staff who do a great job.

A big thank you to the lovley vet we saw yesterday. Sadly we had to say goodbye to our gourgous girl Grace . We were both emotional wrecks but felt so supported by her empathy and understanding. Thank you we are heartbroken but we new it was time to say goodbye and just needed a understanding vet to support us with this decision.
