6 monthly check up for my boys. I love that you are always so kind to them and that you make the visits to the vets as comfortable as possible for them, especially as Merlot is very nervous. You are always full of advice and support, but never pushy sales wise.

Very kind patient vet. Also this is an independently owned practice unlike so many corporate owned ones.

Lovely family vets who know my 2 cats personally and have always looked after them. Even though we have moved house some 5 miles away we continue to use Yatton Vets. I think this says a lot

Shaun and the team at Yatton Vets have been consistently fantastic in their care of my cat and puppy, both in urgent situations and general care. I’ve always felt fully aware of the case in hand, the treatment options and potential outcomes. My nervous cat had to stay in overnight for emergency treatment. Shaun fully explained the risks of the suspected issue and that he’d keep me updated throughout the night if she gets worse. Thankfully the night call never came as it turned out, he saved her life! I was told she even had cuddles with the nurses 🥰 a credit to the team! My puppy had two instances of sedation, to remove grass seeds in her mouth & throat across 3 weeks. Grass seeds are awful, and unfortunately can take some time to surface, as they bury into tissue quickly. She went in very unhappy, unable to open her mouth and struggling to eat. She left both times happy, tail wagging, saying bye to all the nurses. Another huge credit to the team! For me, information is key, which has always been offered when I’ve asked questions. What I want in a vet, is a trusted partner who actually cares, to ensure the best possible outcome for my pets. You never know when you’ll need a vet. Personally, I want to have the right one at hand - cannot recommend enough.

Woody is new to Yatton and the surgery. We have always seen Kayla and it is so nice and reassuring to see the same vet. Kayla is getting to know Woody and me.

First visit and my dog could not have received a more thorough examination. He had previous known issues, but the vet was totally honest with me as to further treatment, including ways to actually save money . They will certainly be my permanent vet from now on.

The vet was really knowledgeable; they explained the potential causes and the different ways to investigate them offering pros and cons that were not only related to cost but also to my pet’s welfare in the long term. The receptionist was very helpful and it was all very efficient. Service and care I can absolutely trust.

Clara saw my extremely nervous cockapoo. She took the time to make him feel comfortable & was able to carry out his examination without unsettling him further. I was extremely impressed with Clara & her caring attitude. I would definitely be very happy for her to treat him again. Thank you, Clara 😃
