Dulverton Veterinary Practice describes itself as a mixed practice for small animals, equine, and farm animals, with in‑house diagnostics (blood testing, digital x‑ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy) and 24‑hour emergency cover. It’s also listed as a veterinary nurse training facility. Reviewers repeatedly describe hands-on support for difficult situations, including management of a prolonged illness followed by euthanasia, and out‑of‑hours visits (including at midnight). Specific treatments mentioned by owners include ongoing care for a broken leg and dental work with multiple extractions (six teeth removed plus a clean). One reviewer explicitly says they hope the practice “remain independent,” indicating it is viewed as independent rather than part of a corporate group (no group name is stated anywhere in the provided sources).

A lovely, friendly, caring team who work well together and share many years of experience together. Recently I have greatly appreciated their sensitive and supportive handling of a prolonged illness of our dog and final euthanasia. Highly recommended.

Having moved back to Dulverton after 40 years it was lovely to re-acquaint myself with Dulverton Vets, and even better to have my appointment booked with Vicky. My dog absolutely hates the vets and is head shy, so I was somewhat trepidatious as he had an infected nose! Vicky was amazing, he stood as quiet as a lamb for her, had a thorough examination and didn't bat an eyelid all the way through. Then came the bill ....., my previous practice would have charged double, long may this fabulous practice remain independent. Can't recommend them highly enough

So... we have recently moved to Dulverton. Had our first appointment today with Vicky It's always difficult moving vets especially when you worked for your previous practice! ... we felt very much at home at Dulverton Vets... Apart from Vicky's professional diagnosis... she was gentle and warm with our sometimes shy Lab and took time with the consult making both client and patient feeling like they were valued. Thank you .. we made the right choice.

This is a proper All Creatures Great and Small type practice . Bang on with the latest treatments but a friendly personal touch and reasonable charges. Owning a riding school then a stud I have had frequent contact with my Vet over the years and I admit I have high standards, so I don’t recommend anyone lightly , but here you feel your much loved pet is in safe hands.

Been a client for many many years, these vets work hard and have always shown compassion to my animals and given great guidance over 30+ yrs. The receptionists are the backbone to the practise and are amazing in their knowledge. Being local really helps them to relate to individual clients. Congratulations DULVERTON VETS
