Very poor experience with this vet, def not would not recommend, we’ve now gone to Zetland vets who are brilliant. Didn’t seem very knowledgeable at all about cats (Maine Coon), initially gave some outdated/incorrect advice before researching it and changing their mind. The initial vaccination jab was poorly done resulting in an abscess which I had to pay for an emergency appointment and metacam to treat. We signed up to the monthly health plan via direct debit which the bank declined due to an admin error that on the vets side. The vet tried to email me to advise the DD payment hadn’t been received which I never received as it presumably went into spam. Rather than giving me a quick call to resolve the matter, the practice instead decided to blacklist me after a couple of months had passed with no reply to their unreceived email. When I contacted the practice for the next check up the issue came to light and outstanding and future payments immediately sorted but they refused to complete any further treatment covered by the health plan until 3-4 months had passed to ensure they had a sufficiently large pot of ‘credit’ under on health plan DD payment (to the detriment of my pets health). Seems they’re happy to lose what would have been a long term customer as a result of their incompetence and short sightedness - avoid!

My 2 house cats were dealt with wonderfully as they are frightened by anyone other than family. They are now microchiped & vacinated. Dealt with kindness & affection.

Poor leadership culture at this practice. We placed our beloved dog in the care of this practice and was seriously let down. Our dog died as a result of poor advice and an unwillingness to response to our concerns when raised. Our view would be to avoid this veterinary chain at all costs.
