I would just like to thank all of the staff at Crewkerne, that helped my partner Mark and myself last night 17/11/2025 in poor old Sasha's final moments, all of the staff were so kind and compassionate, you certainly helped make her final moments calm and happy, what would we do without caring people like yourselves 💔 Thank you 😊

We found our semi feral farm cat in the house Sunday night. It appeared that both back legs were paralysed. It did not appear to be in any pain but just could not walk. Monday morning we rang Kingfisher and they gave us an immediate appointment, I would add that we are not registered with them. Brought the cat in and and after a shortish wait saw the vet. She gently examined KC and realised that the cat had a blood clot . And no blood was going to her legs. [I think we already knew this]. The vet gently told us that there was nothing that could be done as KC was at least 15 yrs old, but left the final decision to us. We agreed, of course that it was best for KC to be "put to sleep". We stayed with her until the end. The vet was kind, gentle and absolutely brilliant. The staff at reception, the vet nurse were all very kind. Would definitely recommend the vet practice.

This was our first visit. I found the Practice at Chard to be professional, clean and efficient. We saw the vet Mr Andrew Carpenter who was brilliant. We felt informed, and reassured and he treated our cats wonderfully. I would recommend this Veterinary Practice 100% Thankyou very much.

Recently took both of my bunnies for their vaccinations, lovely vet gave them a health check & clipped claws for me. No surprises with the bill either. Overall very pleased although my bunnies haven’t forgiven me yet !!

Took my dog to this practice for an eye infection appt which was given to me within 20mins of me calling. Saw the vet who was very thorough but took no more than 10/12 mins in total. Then was given a bill of £106 pounds for the check up and a small bottle of eye drops. No break down of costs, I was completely shocked at the price. Over £100 which to me was crazy. Then just after that a week later listened to the BBC documentary about Vets practises UK wide and understood that this is just getting more and more of an extortion business. This Vets is owned by on of the Big Six ‘independent Vets’.

I have given 5 stars as the staff are helpful and friendly. Was even encouraged to use other means of obtaining meds at a cheaper price. The vet was excellent at handling Maisie and explained everything very clearly. We left feeling very happy with our service.

The nice people at Kingfisher are really kind and look after me. It's a brilliant Vets. I can always sit on a special table where they check me all over and make a big fuss of me. My mum Christine says it's the best place to look after me
